Refund Policy

At Shanti Charitable Trust, we sincerely appreciate the generosity and support of our donors. Every contribution helps us carry out our charitable initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, humanitarian relief, and community development. We strive to ensure that the donation process is transparent and secure.

Donation Refunds

Donations made to Shanti Charitable Trust are generally non-refundable, as they are utilized to support ongoing charitable programs and welfare activities.

However, a refund may be considered under the following circumstances:

• The donation was made due to a technical error or duplicate transaction.
• An incorrect donation amount was entered due to an accidental mistake.
• The payment was deducted from the donor’s account more than once for the same transaction.
• Any other genuine issue that is verified and approved by the Trust.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, the donor must contact us within 7 days of the donation date by providing the following information:

• Full Name
• Email Address
• Contact Number
• Donation Amount
• Transaction ID / Payment Reference Number
• Date of Donation
• Reason for the Refund Request

Our team will review the request and may ask for additional information if required.

Refund Approval

If the refund request is approved, the refund will be processed through the original mode of payment within 7–15 working days, depending on the payment gateway and banking procedures.

Donations Eligible for Tax Benefits

If a donation receipt has been issued or tax benefits have already been claimed under applicable laws, the refund request may not be accepted unless permitted by law.

Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have enrolled in a recurring donation program, you may cancel future recurring donations at any time by contacting us. Cancellation will apply only to future payments and will not affect donations that have already been processed.

Payment Gateway Issues

Shanti Charitable Trust is not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, payment gateways, internet service providers, or technical issues beyond our control. However, we will make every reasonable effort to assist donors in resolving such issues.
